Here are some of the projects I've worked on recently:
Having worked with Holly before, I was keen to help her develop the new website for her latest business venture. I've built this site from scratch using Typescript, in the React framework. I used Tailwind CSS for the styling and template. It's got an Amazon storage bucket for the gallery image storage and I've used an API integration for the login system.
Holly asked for a gallery, so I custom designed and coded a simple gallery from scratch. This gives Holly the ability to add and remove images from the gallery when ever she wants. I've 'future proofed' the code so we can add and remove components at any time. I can also add a simple content management system to add reviews / other content if it becomes a requirement.
I really enjoyed working on this project and I think it turned out great.

Utilising the power of WordPress to create a website so that parents can book their children into local Rugby lessons. I learnt alot of PHP on this project, a programming language I haven't worked with alot before but it was a great experience using this powerful language.
I used quite a few off the shelf WordPress plugins and then customised them to suit the needs of Clintons business needs, such as the booking system, medical requirements and custom form fields for any specific parent / child requirements. I think the website turned out great. We've upgraded and updated it in recent years, the website continues to performs well.

My first time working with Holly. I opted to use WordPress for this project as we needed a comprehensive booking system for weddings, corporate days and other events.
I used a bunch of different plugins, customised for the needs of the business to ensure I built a website fit for purpose. During the C19 lockdown I also introduced a Pizza Takeaway booking system, which was a mini project in it's self.
The website is a simple design, utlising a main image and great typography. I think the key to this websites success is in it's simplicity, Holly let's her amazing horse box and Pizzas do all of the talking.

This site provides a handful of free utilities including a Random Team Generator and a Premier League Fantasy Football Team Names tool that'll help you find a funny, witty name for your fantasy football team.
The first incarnation of the Team Generator was launched in September 2019. It started as a very simple tool to split a list of names into two random lists. I never imagined I'd continue to improve the site and add more features.
I'll probably re-launch the site at some point and develop more fun tools and add new features, there is huge potential for the site. I built it using C#, using MVC as the framework. I have around 10 years experience with C#. I mainly use C# to build console apps to automate daily tasks such as backups and downtime monitoring.

I was approached by Haseeb for web design work. We discussed at length the requirements of the website. He wanted a simple website with a blog. The biggest challenge that I had to overcome on this project was accessibility. Haseeb is visually impaired. This meant that I couldn't show Haseeb a draft of the design, for example.
Haseeb trusted me to design a simple website site without any input from him regarding the visuals. The brief stated that it must be simple, easy to use with his Screen Reader software and not overly colourful
I utilised accessibility tools to ensure the website was easy to read for visually impaired and colour blind users. Haseeb decided not to continue running his site and blog.
